  • Our classes are designed for children ages 3-10. Projects are always age-appropriate and process-focused, with flexibility to meet children where they are developmentally.

  • Yes. A parent or caregiver is required to remain present with their child at all times during classes, workshops and Creative Pods.

    The Creative Place offers instructional art classes, not childcare or drop-off supervision.

  • A Creative Pod is a weekly, small-group art class hosted in a family’s home. One parent hosts, invites up to 10 children, and The Creative Place provides the materials, setup, instruction, and cleanup.

    Creative Pods run in 4-6 week sessions and meet on a consistent weekly schedule.

  • Classes may take place at:

    • The Creative Place home studio, or

    • A host family’s home (Creative Pod)

    • Designated Venue

  • We provide all materials, including paints, paper, glue and simple mixed media supplies. We use child-friendly, age appropriate materials whenever possible.

    Please let us know ahead of time about any sensitivities or allergies.

  • Yes. All families are required to complete a participation agreement and liability waiver prior to the first class.

    For Creative Pods, host families will also complete a brief host acknowledgment form.

  • Creative Pods run in a 4-6 week sessions. This structure allows for consistency, creativity, and flexibility for families.

    At the end of each session, pods may choose to renew for another session.

  • Payment is collected in full prior to the start of each session to reserve your spot. Creative Pods are priced per child, and all materials are included.

  • Due to the planning and materials involved, all session fees are non-refundable once a session begins.

    If a class must be canceled by The Creative Place, families will be noified and credited accordingly.

    We embrace creative mess and always handle setup and cleanup. Children are encouraged to wear clothes that can get messy.

  • You can sign up for classes or submit a Creative Pod inquiry directly through our website. We’ll follow up with scheduling details and next steps.

  • Sessions take place in the Studio City area. The exact address is shared after registration for privacy and safety.
